The Echo Building was built in 1903 to house the Sea Coast Echo Newspaper and is one of the best examples of early 20th Century architecture on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Ann Tidwell and her family began the arduous journey to restore the historic structure. They worked tirelessly to reclaim original beaded boards and expose the massive wooden beams to create a rustic charm.
200 North Beach Restaurant was the first restaurant to open on the Bay in 2011 serving locals and out-of-town visitors. Our menu features fresh seafood, savory steaks, and a variety of home-style dishes. The Bay Bar offers hand-crafted cocktails made with freshly squeezed juices, a large variety of liquor choices, and refreshing frozen cocktails.
